HARRODS

Last year The House of Dior has now joined force with Harrods to launch a luxury change linking French Savoir to the British attraction. This event was a great success and has pushed the opinions of having a House of Dior within Harrods.

This is all in aid of brand expansion, Dior has already opened a cafe inside the store called 'Cafe Dior' at the Georgian restaurant also on the fourth floor where you will find Monsieur Dior's love of the 18th century decor and passion for sumptuous food.

The exciting French menu is similar to its originated Sketch menu. Whilst visiting Harrods food hall which is a must whilst visiting the store I couldn't take my eyes off the delicious looking Dior cupcakes.

Harrod is holding a Dior exhibition were you can experience nine brilliant Dior memories. This event is really beneficial for the brand, being placed in a high end store. It is a perfect cause for rising awareness of Dior's strengths and potential.

Harrods has launched the exclusive dazzling make up collection which is inspired by Christians Dior love for England. A range of Dior vernis polishes, Face palettes, limited edition lipsticks and Miss Dior fragrance. Whilst visiting the Beauty Halls the samples were an exclusive experience, the in store services are endless- facial, manicures, makes over and much more. All the employees are so helpful and really make your visit to the store worth it, I feel it will be a great success

The exhibition housed many beautiful Dior Couture gowns, accessories and iconic garments such as the dress worn in the J'adore ad by Charlize Theron, gowns worn by the queen, Audrey Hepburn and Princess Diana.  There were so many highlights including pieces like the fashion illustrations by Dior himself, a giant white handbag with fashion films projected onto them showing how the iconic bags are made and a giant chair with a projected slideshow showing clips of Miss Dior.
