When is the right time to launch a Campaign?

Fragrances alone are a big selling point to most retailers and fashion houses. Company should be aware of what current new or launching on the market, therefore you have to take a great deal of knowing your product and what is the best timing to produce it:

50% of sale take place at Christmas Time - The fragrance market is a high seller at this time of year

Valentine's Day - Gift for love ones, the essence the brand portrays in its campaign, can fit this occasion well 'the right gift is the right scent'

Black Friday- A good perfume does not come cheap therefore taking into consideration a huge sale date can help promote the product.

This Christmas Dior has launch a 'Golden Winter' collection which consists of beauty products with a golden theme the market has already been created it needs a male strategy.

I was aiming to launch my campaign next year 2015 just for the upcoming Valentine, however I feel that this product is more beneficial to be sold a christmas as a touchpoint I have produced free christmas rapping giftset for the product and buying a man an aftershave at christmas is a very common purchase, by friends, family and girlfriends. Whereas at valentines women dont go as far out as men do with gifts and donations.

With the current market selling half its year profit at christmas I feel it would be great to launch at this special time of year.



A fashion campaign is the first visual aspect of the product that is shown. For the campaign to work it needs to be unique, eye catching, admissible and significant. A campaign is an advert that is designed to sell a product, expose it to the world to promote the brand and core markets. There is a lot of work behind a campaign however is very exciting.
